In a landscape dominated by stoneware, I chose porcelain. It wasn’t the easy choice—raw materials are scarce in India and the technical demands are immense—but for me, it was the only choice. I wanted to capture the ethereal lightness and "bone china feel" that radiates true luxury.

Many people and studio potters told me the vision wouldn't scale. They cited cost, material shortages, and a lack of specialised porcelain potters as reasons and let me tell you of which are true. But a year later, Duali is proving them wrong. We’ve spent the last 12 months pushing the boundaries of ceramic art with patented designs and innovative techniques.
I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in just one year, transforming a "difficult" material into a collection of remarkable, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Until next time,
